Choose The Best Low Income Housing Type for You

Value Place

Value Place is an extended stay hotel chain that offers weekly rates as low as $169.  Although Value Place is not necessarily a "low income" housing community, it may be a last option for some people.

They are relatively newer than many other weekly apartment hotels and they offer locations across the United States.

I have seen some Value Place locations advertise move in specials on Craigslist, and as with most extended stay weekly hotels, there is no credit check, and you can move in with just one week's rent and a small deposit.

Here is an example of one of their ads just to give you a "feel" for what you might come across in your area:

If you are interested in a weekly rental at Value Place, before you go to their website and call them directly, BE SURE to check out your local area Craigslist listings under "housing."

You will want to check out Craigslist first because Value Place will often advertise specials there without putting them on their website...and they won't automatically mention them to you when you call........

One other thing I want to mention about Value Place is they will usually offer an even deeper discount if you pay the rent for the entire month up-front - and it is normally cheaper than what you would pay for an apartment.

If you have low income and you need housing immediately, Value Place might be a good option for you:  Here is a video example of what you will find in a typical Value Place Unit:

I wish you the very best of luck in your search for low income housing.
